All you can eat rip off. I got the smallest pieces of fish ever on sushi. It's just rice and imitation crab.

The best All you can eat sushi I've had in UT. The fish is as fresh as you're gonna get this far from the ocean, and it is well managed. Not fishy. Service is very friendly. They were very patient with me as I sat at the bar for several hours watching a football game. I would definitely go back.

Let's start off by being honest. This is all-you-can eat sushi. I'm not really sure you're going to find masterfully crafted top of the line rolls, but you will find decent rolls at a fairly reasonable price. More variety than a lot of the other all-you-can eat places and generally pretty tasty. I'm a fan of their Texas roll ((if the fact that it serves a steak roll doesn't convince you that it's not exactly purist sushi, nothing will) and some of their shrimp rolls are pretty good. This place is generally my favorite all-you-can eat sushi restaurant in the valley. They seem to keep it pretty clean, the staff is polite and friendly, though generally confused about what rolls they're bringing out and the rolls are made fresh.

Popped in to satisfy a late night craving. Waitresses were polite and attentive, though the place was obviously understaffed. Ordered 3 pieces sushimi and 1 piece of nigiri, they came out super quick. After I finished that I was not entirely filled and elected to try a roll (I went with a fried roll). Ordered the vegas and waited.................and waited........and waited for nearly 20 minutes. Until I hear a little spat going on at a table to the right of me. Apparently the sushi chefs plated two rolls incorrectly for a gentleman at the table. After listening I realize one of them is mine and try to communicate this to the waitress, she either doesn't understand or just ignores me. She then takes this plate and sets it on the shelf where the chefs put completed orders. After another 5 or 10 minutes, I finally flag down another waitress and explain that I've been staring at the roll that was meant for me for a while and would like to eat it. She looks at me like I'm crazy and goes to grab the plate, returns to my table and asks if I want it, I say yes. So naturally I'm expecting her to just give me the plate right? But no. I watch this waitress take a chopstick and scrape the other roll off the plate, straight into the garbage. But she"s not done! Evidently the two roll sized plate is not okay for only one roll. So she gets a new and smaller plate and scrapes my roll onto it, and hands it to me. So by now my roll is cold and disgustingly mashed to pieces. And the cashier still charges me full price. cold and mashed fried salmon roll+ no compensation or apology = NOT WORTH SEVEN DOLLARS!!!!!

The service is what sells this spot! The sushi is ok, not amazing but the all u can eat freshly made sushi is something I've never heard of and a little skeptical if this is really fish or not...kidding. It was good sushi great service! I would come back.

Sushi here is decent. Some were hit and miss. The nigiri had way too much rice. Good selection though but I guess I cant expect too much for AYCE sushi. The staff was great and helpful.

High quality sushi at a pretty great price. They have a lot of great options with lots of variety. Pick several rolls and try them all, you can't go wrong! Go on a weekday night. The service is really great and attentive.

Have gotten better sushi at 7-eleven days old! There was a time when this was a decent restaurant, last couple visits, and the last one being the LAST ONE! Rice was mushy, roll fall apart, most unidentifiable and everything doused in mayonnaise, whether in the description or not. Very disappointing. Sushi buffet is have better quality and taste. Service wasn't much better, come up to Utah County quite often I won't be going there anymore... Sticking with Sushi Ya, for all you can eat option, worth the extra drive

If I could give this place zero stars I would, I haven't even had the opportunity to try this sushi because BOTH times me and my husband came here we were ignored by the server, had to beg somebody to wait on us, and when they finally would help us the sushi ended up taking over 45 minutes plus to get to our table. We don't know how long it actually would have taken had we stayed, we decided that 45 minutes was plenty of time to waste on a place that obviously could care less about their customer service. Please don't waste your time or money, go to Sushi Ya or any other place that will actually serve you.

Disappointing experience. First impression, dive sushi bar (shabby interior) with terrible landscaping around it. No character inside and it leaves the impression that this place isn't cared for very well. Quick, friendly service, though it felt like I was being watched and hovered over, and mediocre, cheap sushi. Too bad it wasn't as cheap as it should have been... I ordered everything off the lunch menu and when I was finished the owner (I am assuming she is the owner) stated that I ordered an item off the dinner menu (the Firecracker roll) with the rest of my all you can eat lunch menu items. This wasn't the case, but I wasn't going to argue it with a 5', middle aged Asian lady. I paid the extra and walked out the door. I won't be coming back. Plenty of other sushi joints in the valley, which have better sushi and non-accusatory owners.

We wanted this place to be good. It wasn't. Everything is glazed in unagi sauce so all the rolls in our first order ended up tasting the same. Rolls were packed with tons of rice. Rice was mushy and undesirable. We told the chef, no more unagi and he gladly accommodate, so thumbs up for the guy for making our experience slightly less unpleasant. The fish is a bit fresher than other AYCE places, but they come in small thin pieces. Nigiris came with 1:10 fish to rice proportion (I kid you not). There were a couple of rolls that were decent (the Rock 'n Roll & Sun Set, without unagi sauce) but the rest were pretty meh. More than half of the rolls come with "krab" so we tried our best to avoid those. 2 of us ordered 7 or 8 rolls and a handful different variations of nigiris. Their rolls are not as well executed as Sushi-Ya in comparison, with almost twice the rice, for the same price. I generally would not go to Sushi-Ya if it was up to me, but I would over this place. All in all, very underwhelmed. Nope, not recommended.

Typical all you can eat sushi place. A better selection than other all you can eat joints. I thought the Texas roll was a pleasant surprise. Perfect for the less brave of heart when it comes to sushi. Service was excellent and the service was super prompt. As for price, great value with the quantity of sushi I ate. A little pricey if you fill up after 1 roll.

This is better than another all-you-can-eat sushi place I've tried, but it is still subpar sushi. You really can't expect anything else at a place like this. They would never be able to make money if they served top quality fish, so they have to add more of the fillers (rice, cucumber, crab salad, etc) and then give you a smaller piece of less than top quality fish. So, as long as you understand the format and the business model, you can eat here and be satisfied. If you are looking for great sushi, you will need to go somewhere else. And really good sushi is very hard to find around here.

Plenty of staff ready to serve you! This is the second time we are here and it was just as great as the first time! The sushi itself cannot be fresher as they make it to order. We did all you can eat, no rush, just a nice time with delicious food. They don't serve desert. They are great with kids. Bathrooms are clean. Plenty of parking.

It was good but that is it. The biggest downside to this place is that anyone over the age of 8 is charged an adult price for all you can eat sushi. There are a few other places in town that charge about half for those 12 and under. Makes it even easier to take my kid out to a cool dinner. Probably will not be back in.

I've been coming here for years and I can honestly say I will not be returning. What used to be tenderly crafted, delicious seafood rolls are now over cooked, soggy, rubbery pieces of disgusting sushi that the eel sauce can't hide. The service has gotten progressively worse. Our waiter never returned to the table to refill our drinks or give us another sushi form for our 2nd round. We were so upset that we left after being ignored for 25 minutes.

Nigiri sushi - 90% rice; 10% fish Roll - there is generous amount of rice in the outter layer. BUT WAIT! YOU GET MORE RICE INSIDE THE SEAWEED! They should just rename the restaurant to 'Rice House'

I only go here when I forget how bad it is. I stopped in last night (Friday) because it is right off the highway. Hopefully writing my very first Yelp review will help me remember to drive past next time. My sushi looked like it was made by high schoolers with no previous experience at the task. I wish I took pictures to prove I am not exaggerating. First I ordered some nigiri and a spider roll. The nigiri were big egg-shaped balls of rice with small pieces of fish on top sliced so thinly they were almost transparent. The little bits of fish were fresh and tasted OK. The rice was fair. It was only a little over cooked, but I could taste enough seasoning that it added flavor to the sushi instead distracting from it. The crab in the spider roll was so small I could not taste anything but the greasy fried batter it was lost in. It was steeped in unagi sauce. Next, I ordered a cooked scallop hand roll and a Rocky Mountain roll. I took one bite of the hand roll and realized for the first time in my life that I simply could not eat a sushi roll I was served. It was poorly assembled and the filling was just a glob of pink mayo with a little bit of tobiko floating around. I could not identify or taste any scallops. I did find a strip of something that tasted like cucumber. The Rocky Mountain roll reminded me of what kindergartners get when they try to roll a tube out of playdough with their little hands, something like a miniature elephant trunk. The fish on top was hardly a token nod to what should have been there--tiny shavings about the size of a quarter. The whole thing was drenched in unagi sauce, which fortunately tasted OK. The staff were trying hard to be helpful--almost too much at times. They were young teenagers that didn't seem to have much experience at waiting tables. In a sign that this is a volume operation, I had so many different kids stop by my table that I could not identify which one was my official server. As I left, I glanced behind the sushi bar and saw a motley crew of 5 or 6 guys. I saw them when I entered but didn't think anything about it. After seeing and eating the food, however, I guess my brain was looking for an explanation and they now seemed more like a random selection of low wage short order cooks than sushi chefs. It perplexes me that some reviewers here say the food is as good as any they have had elsewhere in the country. I guess if you show up at the right time, the stars are aligned and it works out. As for the three or four times I've visited, the stars have been increasingly out of place.

We tried out this sushi place based on some of the positive reviews on Yelp. I feel like I experienced a completely different restaurant than other reviewers. This was the most overpriced nasty sushi I remember paying for. It tasted like supermarket sushi. We had to force the rolls down that were brought out so we weren't charged for not finishing. The whole restaurant was also dirty. They needed to clean the floors and tables. Would not recommend to anyone.

My third time was just as good as the first and second. I would say my favorite roll here is the "FireCracker". I'm not sure what's in it. It's tempura dipped and seems to be the most popular roll here. I will continue to come here. Don't be scared off by the quaintness of the abode...

My favorite sushi place in Utah county. I usually go here for lunch all you can eat. It is very decently priced at only $15 dollars for all you can eat. It is well worth the deal. I always get the Godzilla, funky, and spicy scallops as a starter. They are my favorite. I haven't had a roll I didn't like. All you can eat dinner is priced at $20, which isn't too bad. You get 20 more rolls with the dinner menu and they are all very good. The only downside is that one out of every three times I go, I seem to get slow service or forgetful servers. It isn't that much of a problem though.

After reading through the reviews, we thought we had a 50/50 chance of eating decent sushi. However, most of the negative reviews were correct. The rice is mushy and the sushi is covered, totally drenched, in sauces. My husband is allergic to fish, so we usually go for the veggie or shrimp type sushi. Having said we avoided raw fish, it was surprising that about half an hour after eating we both experienced horrible stomach pains. Let's just say we became friends with the bathroom. Any restaurant that leaves you sick is not with it! Tried to give this place a chance, but not worth it.

Service was good. Food came out surprisingly fast. It was ok, but EVERYTHING WAS FULL OF IMITATION CRAB! 4 rolls of fake crab sushi was not the best experience. Only a few rolls don't contain the cheap crab filler. I would have given them 2 stars if it weren't for the polite and prompt service.

I have had sushi from a couple other places in Utah. My experience from the other restaurants made me swear to stay away from sushi. I do not like Sushi that tastes fishy. A couple years later, my bro-in-law convinced my wife and me to go with him and his wife to Sushi House. I have to say I am back on the Sushi train again! Every roll we ate was amazing! We have been back a few times since and each time has been a treat. We love this place. The service has always been good and the food has always been great! We will continue to eat at Sushi House!

The rolls were good, and there was a big menu! $20 for the all you can eat dinner. Typical utah county all you can eat quality sushi. My favorites were the sunset, dragon and Mamma Mia. The nigiri had a little too much rice and the fish on it wasn't as fresh as I had hoped. There was a spam roll and a steak roll that weren't great either. They did do good spicy tuna though! I definitely don't regret it but I don't think it stood out in any way that's going to bring me back soon.

This is the third sushi place (all you can eat) I've been to in Utah. By far the sushi here was the freshest fish I have had in the valley. Great service with happy employees. The owner and family appeared to be there as well working just as fast and hard as the others. I would recommend this place over the others including the few non all you can eat places I've been (which is unusual in my book).

Sushi was good. But worst service Ive ever received, left feeling so ripped off and sick to my stomach how they treated us. Ordered all you can eat sushi, texted a friend about where I was (note, I know what time that was from my phone), and then we waited. 2 people. Our waitress walked by many times. Still waiting. And waiting. A half hour later I had to get up and ask the waitress across the restaurant where out food was. We only ordered 5 rolls, hoping we could order more after, and have ourselves over an hour to get to out next appt. It's all you can eat right? They lost our order. So once I had to bring it to their attention, we had already been there a good 35 minutes (I checked my text) before we got our first round of 5 rolls. I asked if we'd have to pay full price since now we have no time left to use the full experience of all you can eat, and they said yes, we will discount this, and apologized. So we decided to stay. After we ate and had to hurry out, they only have us 10% off (15.00 to 13.50) and then had the nerve to say we were liars and didn't wait that long. I have proof on my phone. We would have ordered another 3 rolls, if they had done their jobs right. But we didn't get too. And still paid full price for 5 rolls in the end, in full. Horrible service from the forgetful ignoring waitress and then the lady at the register. I've never been treated so poorly. I'd have happily paid even 10$ giving us 10$ off 5 each, but 1.50 off? Really? Their attitudes were horrible. I've never been so insulted and disgusted at any restaurant in my life. I'll never go again, and never take clients there again. You don't treat people that way.

Good but not great. Tried all you can eat lunch. They make it fresh and you can order anything off the lunch menu, but I got thin slices of fish and a lot of rice on both the rolls and the nigiri. The rice is packed a little too much and is a touch sweet. The restaurant is clean and not crowded. Nice decor, but nothing out of the ordinary for a sushi place.

For an all-you-can-eat sushi place, Sushi House is one of my favorites. It occupies an old Denny's restaurant and has an interesting smell when you walk in, but I've always left Sushi House satisfied. Servers are friendly and usually fast. They're not strict on the "eat everything" rule that most all-you-can-eat sushi places have. Ambiance is a little weird, but you never really go to an all-you-can-eat sushi for its ambiance. Bathrooms are kinda sketchy so I try not to use them while I'm there. Pricing is fair and affordable. Sushi presentation is clean, good variety, but my favorite is the spam roll. I'm a sucker for anything with cream cheese. Nigiri is good, I normally get the seared salmon. Overall, I've left Sushi House feeling almost a little too satisfied and burping sushi up for the next couple of days, but if you don't get that feeling at all-you-can-eat sushi, then you might as well ask for a refund.

You should know that I classify sushi places into two groups: the all-you-can-eats and the others. I judge them differently as well. The Sushi House is a great all-you-can-eat place. I have had better sushi elsewhere (and have paid quite a bit for individual rolls) however if you're looking for a great all-you-can-eat place, this should definitely be on your list. The sushi is good. Generally, everything is fresh and they roll the rolls pretty tight with the right amount of rice. Like I said, you can probably find a roll or two at other places that aren't all-you-can-eat that may taste a bit better, but if you want a good all-you-can-eat experience, this is an awesome place to go. If it helps, I'm probably here once every two weeks or so...let that be proof that they have good stuff.

I like some of their more original rolls. The spam roll was an unexpected delight. If they have spam in stock when you come try that. The tea is only served in one small cup at a time for some reason. It's almost impossible to convince them to keep refilling it because it's so small and needs refilling so often. Otherwise it's your average all you can eat place. The food is average, the service is average, the wait is average, it's average.

Well, it wasn't horrible, it wasn't good either. This is why I usually avoid all-you-can-eat sushi places. We ordered our first round of rolls with nigiri and some other stuff. Not too bad, not too much rice, so we ordered a second round based off of what we got for the first round. Yet this time the nigiri and the rolls had twice as much rice than before. We choked down as much as we could stomach paid and left. I would rather spend this much on good well made sushi than eat a ton of mediocre sushi.

This is my favorite AYCE sushi place in Utah, and I've been to almost all of them. They keep your drinks full, they bring your food out quickly, and they do it with a smile. The staff is super nice, and they'll be happy to recommend what they like. I've been a few times when the rice was a little dry, but if you go in the evenings, that's not a problem. The food is great, and they'll take good care of you, whether you're new to sushi or an old pro.

I have tried a few buffet style Sushi places and sushi house has to be the fastest and best one yet. We had a party of 7 with two kids. We were seated promptly and give are papers to order. We ordered about 7 rolls and some Naguri. Order was out in no more than 10 minutes amazing. Sushi was very delicious and didn't have tons of rice either. Recommended for sure.

There are plenty of sushi restaurants in the Salt Lake & Utah Valley's, however few are all you can eat. Some all you eat places like "simply sushi" have a limited menu and the quality is not so good. Sushi house on the other hand, offers both rolls and Nigari type sushi, a very reasonable all-you-can-eat menu offering. The quality is very good, the flavors of their rolls are very good and speed and quality of service is very good. Accessibility is perfect as it is right off I-15. The restaurant is always clean as is the bathrooms. The staff has always been friendly. They also offer several beer and wine offerings (which was a surprise for Utah County). They do not have any desserts on the menu, so don't expect to fill your sweet tooth while you are here, but with all-you-can-eat sushi, we rarely have enough space in our stomach's to support a dessert. This is worth the 20 minute drive from Draper for what is usually a $70 meal (two adults, two children) vs. $100+ for the same amount of sushi at other places.

As far as "all you can eat" sushi places go, this is one of the best. We eat here often and have always been happy. I have had better individual rolls other places, but this place is pretty close in quality and you can try all the rolls you like. Don't miss this place for great sushi.

This is sushi the way it should be. DELICIOUS and AFFORDABLE. We love this place. The staff is very friendly. And the manager, if not the owner himself, aided us in our selection. Ok, I know, an all-you-can-eat sushi joint, but come on!! Sushi for 2 in Utah is a $70-$120 night-out. $20 a pop and your puttin-em-down (dinner). I chalk it up to value sushi... like ordering off the dollar menu or going to olive garden for italian (pronounced eye-tally-anne in Utah), but with sushi. I have tried all of the AYCE sushi joints within 50 miles. This is the one I've settle on. All Mexican chefs, seemingly Chinese owners (husband and wife watching carefully over ever dish). It's good, affordable sushi... which is not easy to come by in these parts. Try the Max roll (not on the menu), and the texas (steak roll) is whimsical and beefy.

How am I just now writing a review for this place? This has been my go-to sushi spot in Utah County for a long time now and I've been raving about it to everyone I know. At least I was until now. I've only ever been to Sushi House for all-you-can-eat at dinner time. The rolls were always fantastic--the fish fresh and cold, the rice perfectly cooked and prepared. The variety of rolls was impressive and there was something for every palate whether you love it raw or don't venture past a California Roll. This still all may be true for the dinner rolls, but one a recent visit for lunch, I was SERIOUSLY disappointed. The rice was soggy, overly sticky and gooey which is the make or break of all good sushi. The seaweed was also soggy and chewy, like they had been prepared hours ago and were waiting for us when we arrived. The fish was oddly warm and not very fresh tasting. The rolls that had eel sauce on them came DRENCHED in the stuff. Too much of a good thing. I was devastated and saddened that my favorite sushi joint had fallen on it's proverbial sword and let me down. I'll be going back for dinner to see if it's what it's always been, but based on my admittedly limited experience with the lunch menu, I'll not be recommending anyone go by for lunch.

Take into account that I haven't really been satisfied with any sushi lately, so it might just be me. I rank this place up with Sushi-ya, I really didn't see much difference, a lot of the same selection, price is comparable. The place didn't seem as busy as Sushi-ya tends to be, though I don't know why - neither is all that reputable, though Sushi-ya does maintain a much more Asian (looking) staff. The service was average. I had an empty water glass for most of the night, though they did fill it up several times at the beginning (due to some unrelated complications we were there for a while, as different members of our party were late). They were prompt in providing us with menus and the sushi didn't take long to arrive. I might go back, but I'm not any more inclined to return to Sushi-ya than I am to Sushi House (I may have given Sushi-ya a higher ranking, but I was likely a little more interested in sushi in general then). If you're craving sushi then this will likely satisfy your craving.

Good sushi fair price, clean restaurant. Could have used less sweet sauce. Rolls were tight and not overloaded with rice like some places I've been. The baked rolls were the best and the scollops were fresh and melted in my mouth. Also got the food quick between rounds.
